With the Manor located inside Dartmoor National Park, you are never far from the breath-taking views the moor has to offer. The famous Haytor Rock, Hound Tor and Widecombe-in-the-Moor are all a short drive away; whilst the beauty of the Devon coastline is within a 30 minute drive from Colehayes.
The Beauties of South Devon
There are a multitude of charming beaches nearby to spend sunny afternoons on including Torquay, Goodrington, Exmouth, Teignmouth, and Dawlish. The English Riviera boasts stunning attractions with the famous Agatha Christie drawing her inspiration from the surrounding areas. A bit further afield are the many attractions of the South Hams including Dartmouth and Salcombe. You will never be short of places to visit and things to do; although many guests never leave the grounds during their entire stay as they love being at Colehayes so much.
Charming Bovey Tracey
The local village of Bovey Tracey is less than a 2 mile drive away, where you will find a number of local shops, pubs, bakery, butchers, greengrocers etc. The Devon Craft Guild is definitely worth a visit. The larger towns of Newton Abbot and Exeter, with transport links to London and the rest of the UK, are under 30 minutes away.
