We have beautifully manicured Victorian gardens which bloom into a symphony of colour in the springtime. The stunning views and peaceful tranquillity create an intimate atmosphere where guests feel completely tucked away. Our exquisite rare cork oak tree at the bottom of the garden is among the only of its kind in the UK and creates a stunning backdrop for weddings held at our custom-built wedding pavilion.

For nature enthusiasts, our 20 acres offers a wide range of environments. From woodland, ponds, marshland, streams and cascading waterfalls the grounds are a haven for various wildlife. There are plenty of nature trails to explore along the streams and in the woodland as well as fields for games and other outdoor activities. Our beautiful Victorian lake is among the most memorable features of the Colehayes estate. In the middle of the lake sits two small islands; one with a superb cedar of Lebanon tree on the connected to the woodland by a rare granite clapper bridge. The other island is home to a family of Canada geese during the spring and summer months. Our exceptional water quality makes the lake a popular swimming spot for guests, who also have the opportunity to hire kayaks and canoes.

The lovely Cork Tree Cottage is set 50 yards behind the main house in the gardens. Cork Tree Cottage is a spacious, comfortable and cosy natural stone detached bungalow named after the rare British Cork Oak tree in the garden.
